Authentic and Conscious Living

CLOSURE is a real life Cold Case, forty years of mystery seen through a cocktail mist of distant memory, sex, hypnosis and heartbreak.

Did an eighteen year old woman abandon her husband and two kids? Did her lover have a Sunday meal with his young family then desert them forever? Or, as relatives suspect, was the pair murdered? Closure, an hour-long documentary, presents a haunting mystery. Did a murder go unreported? Were police incompetent?

Forty years later, the families still want answers and therein, lies the pain and the heartbreak in this extraordinary film.

Aptly named for the quality missing in those whose lives are broken forever, Closure tells the stories of the families of the missing; people like Kelly Jolkowski whose son disappeared at age 19. In an attempt to heal her own pain by helping others, she started a Campaign for the missing, an effort to establish nationwide protocols for dealing with missing person’s cases.

Closure is a documentary film with two goals: to tell the fascinating mystery of the missing persons Melvin Uphoff and Jacqueline Rains – Kracman and secondly, to advocate for those who may never find closure, the families left behind.

It is a fascinating film and I highly recommend it.
